Club Accounts

This program teaches the value of saving and provides rewards for kids to reach their goals.

Just $5 will open an account at the credit union and membership is open to children 12 years or younger. KARS teaches kids how to save money. Earning rewards reinforces saving habits and short-term goals.

  • Meet Axle – As you reach each goal, “Axle” zooms into action to reward young savers!

T.G.I.F. (Teens Getting Involved Financially)

Teens Getting Involved Financially is available to any member between 13 and 18 years old. TGIF helps young members save for their first car, learn how to balance a checkbook and establish a habit of making regular deposits with money earned from part time jobs.

Credit Cards - Credit Cards help young people just as they do older adults. With a parent's co-signature for a specified amount you may qualify for a Visa card to help pay for tuition, textbooks, school supplies, or a new career wardrobe.

Scholarship Programs - R.I.A. Federal Credit Union is proud to be able to offer two $1,000 scholarships to students continuing their education at a four-year, junior college or post-high school technical school. Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, citizenship, & community and school involvement. Applications are available in all offices beginning in April for the current year.

Share Draft / Checking - When shopping for a checking account, make sure to compare what different financial institutions offer based on the amount of money you plan to keep in your account and the number of checks you'll write each month.

Debit / ATM Cards - Debit cards may look like credit cards, but they're not. Used instead of writing a check, debit cards are accepted wherever a credit card purchase can be made. After signing a sales slip for the amount of your purchase, the funds are automatically deducted from your share draft / checking account. Debit cards can also be used as an ATM card.

Additional services offered to our TGIF members include Auto Loans and a variety of Savings plans along with various Share Certificates.
